Deutscher Anwaltverein

Background

For more than 40 years, the DAV (Deutscher Anwaltverein) e.V. (German Bar Association) has been committed to the concerns of traffic lawyers. With over 4,500 members (as of May 2023), it is the second largest working group in the DAV. The Berlin-based association represents the interests of its members vis-à-vis authorities and in legislative proceedings.

Assignment

We have been supporting the DAV's traffic law working group in its public relations work since 2021 with the annual “Golden Blitzer” survey – for this, we analyze speed camera deployments and their revenues in the 150 largest cities in Germany. And each year, we select “Germany's speed camera millionaires.” In doing so, we educate consumers about fine revenue and create more transparency and awareness for the often overlooked fine revenue of Germany's cities.

Idea and Implementation

Our data-driven PR approach enables us to generate targeted attention in the media and among the public and to raise awareness of the topic of traffic monitoring. We always ensure the reliability of our data through a solid data basis, a Germany-wide survey and empirical evaluations.

Result

The numbers speak for themselves: with targeted media approaches, data-based storylines and regionally prepared evaluations, we achieve up to 250 publications in regional and national media annually. These included the Instagram channel of the Tagesschau and other media such as BILD am Sonntag, Deutschlandfunk, N-TV.de and DER SPIEGEL.
