At our ORCA Diving Lab, you will dive into exactly the topics you need to make targeted progress. This way, we enable you to develop at your own pace and in line with your requirements.

At the same time, our ORCA mentoring program promotes your personal growth and ensures that you integrate well into the team from day one. That's why our ORCA Swim School provides new colleagues with a “Leitwal” from day one. This contact person supports you in your professional and personal development and ensures that we support you according to your strengths. To do this, they are your neutral sparring partner and source of inspiration.

DEVELOPMENT STAGES

Warum wir mit jährlichen 360°-Feedbackgesprächen und konkreten Zielvereinbarungen arbeiten? Einfache Antwort: Damit wir alle uns stetig weiterentwickeln und an unseren Aufgaben wachsen können. Was wir dabei von unseren verschiedenen Karriereleveln erwarten, haben wir daher klar in unserem Qualitätshandbuch definiert. So wissen alle, worauf sie hinarbeiten können und was von ihnen für den nächsten Karrieresprung erwartet wird:

Our trainees have a bachelor's or master's degree. During their studies and through internships, they have already gained initial experience in public relations or journalism. After a structured on-boarding with their personal “Leitwal”, they are already supporting our clients in their project work after just a few weeks. The range of their tasks is as diverse as the industries of our clients: content editing, collaboration on strategy development, ongoing contact with journalists and multipliers, research, analysis and evaluation, as well as initial consulting with clients in a protected space.

Within this framework, they independently take on sub-projects and work with clients and service providers. Their intensive twelve-month on-the-job training ensures a steep learning curve on their way to becoming junior consultants. Your guide will be there to answer all your organizational and technical questions. In this way, this contact person ensures that you are introduced to the agency's processes, instruments, organizational procedures and quality standards.

Our junior consultants have in-depth knowledge in their areas of expertise. They advise our clients independently in the context of projects and maintain relationships with clients at the operational level. They independently carry out projects and tasks within given time, capacity and cost schedules and work on billing and project controlling processes. In addition, they develop and create project concepts for measures up to the presentation stage for the client. They also take responsibility for the induction and integration of our trainees as part of the ORCA mentoring program.

Our consultants have excellent subject-matter expertise. They have at least three years of professional experience and advise our clients independently, strategically and methodically. In addition, they develop concepts for challenging communicative situations and are able to solve the entire spectrum of tasks for our clients. They manage and control the implementation of projects, determine the processes through to billing, and are responsible for the quality of their team's work. They are also responsible for the quality and development of client relationships. Furthermore, they conduct budget negotiations together with our senior consultants and partners.

Our senior consultants are responsible for providing strategic advice to our clients. They have many years of experience and are characterized by particular strategic strength and expertise in their areas of expertise. Accordingly, as account directors, they also take responsibility for the sales, earnings and costs of their teams' overall budgets. They are also important cultural ambassadors in the company: together with the consultants, they help our employees grow and pass on knowledge and experience within the agency. At the same time, they are actively involved in positioning ORCA van Loon Communications in the market and in new business acquisition.
