20 kilometers of track, 500 trains, 11 million euros of investment - these are just a few impressive numbers behind the newly opened Modellbauwelten in Bispingen. The attraction directly under the Snow Dome also sets a world record: The world's largest G-gauge model railroad.
ORCA van Loon was responsible for the media relations for the exclusive pre-opening at the end of June. This included the creation of a storyline, press releases, fact sheets and speech manuscripts. We were also in charge of invitation management and the on-site press support.
Successful media coverage
Numerous wide-coverage media accepted the invitation and visited the opening of the new leisure facility in the north. TV crews from Sat1 and RTL Nord were on site, as was NDR, which showed a report on „Hallo Niedersachsen“ among others. "Model railroad dream in the Heath" - was the headline of BILD Hamburg. In addition, other print media such as the Hamburger Abendblatt, taz and numerous other regional media reported on the event.
The opening of the Modellbauwelten in Bispingen took place in strict accordance with the Corona safety regulations. Among the guests of Managing Director Frank Blin were SPD Member of the Bundestag Lars Klingbeil, Heidekreis District Administrator Manfred Ostermann and Bispingen Mayor Dr. Jens Bülthuis.
