ORCA van Loon Communications and the IHK of Kiel have been awarded with the German Award Business Communication for implementing the internal change process “Spinnaker”. Together with the chamber the strategic consultancy focussing on corporate communication was nominated for the category “Internal Communication” in the course of the 17th edition of the well-known communications award. They were able to prevail against strong competitors like the Zurich Insurance Group, the Deutsche Bank Sales Company, the comdirect Bank and the Sedus Stoll AG.
The jury was convinced by the excellent and sustainable integration of the employess into the development and implementation of the change process in order to create one of the most innovative chambers of industry and commerce in Germany – the reason for their decision in course of the award ceremony at the Kosmos Berlin. Additionally, they did not only praise the strategic construction, the tonality, and the design of the complete change story but also the compelling integration of all communicative measurements.
“Quality convinces regardless of the company’s size. With the internal campaign we implemented at the IHK of Kiel we actually met the roots of the matter: Change affects the people, and is therefore relevant to their needs and their fears”, Hendrik Schulze van Loon sums it up, managing partner of ORCA van Loon Communications. “Implementing “Spinnaker” we kept this in mind throughout the process. We are vey happy, that our idea and its authentic realisation were able to outpace some strong competitors.”
ORCA van Loon Communications developed a strategic process branding as well as a change communication concept. Throughout the implementation and the cultural change the consultancy supported strategically and was part of the whole process.
